17x8 offset help.

I know this is more than likley a offroad forum question, I am shopping around for rims and came across a few 17x8 wheels that have a offset of 10 and another with 14. The original rims I planned on getting have a 22 offset which I know will fit without spacers. I did a search and say that the lower the offset the better but with these offsets will I be able to runs 265/70/17 tires and 2.5 lift kit without wheel spacers. A thread link or any advise would be helpful.
