Trailblazer SS swap?

Has anybody done a successful SS swap from a previously 5.3L v8 TV?
Did you run into problems?
Am thinking of doing the 6.0L(Ls2) and 4l70e swap into my wife's Gmc Envoy xl Denali. Motor spun a bearing
But want to get some feedback if someone has done it, how many problems did you run into, and what I will need to do a full swap
I found someone selling me engine, tranny, wire harness, and computer. Which I don't think I'll need wire harness

Thanks for any info in advance

Took a master GM mechanic and myself 8 hours to swap a same year SS powertrain into a Saab 9-7x. Curiously the pin out on the 4L70e was different from the 4L65e so I had to retain the stock trans....but otherwise plug and play.

Be warned MUST either adapt the factory SS tune to your factory ECM or swap ECM's and hope the body control module is compatible. The factory 5.3 tune will not work !
