No power locks or windows on driver side door on 2005 envoy

Hello all. I have absolutely no power coming from my drivers side door besides the power mirror switch. From looking at the posts here and searching the internet i am led to believe it is the drivers door module. Also, the passenger side window switch does not work but the lock switch does work. Is this all the result the ddm being shot or is it that both are fried? I spoke with my mechanic and he seen something about a recall on the envoys trailblazers and isuzu models. When calling Gmc manufacture they have no open recalls for this problem. Anyway, I was also told that if i buy a new ddm that i still have to bring it to the dealer for it to be programmed. But, is it true that if u have or buy a used one it does not have to be programmed. Looking to save a couple bucks if possible so if anyone knows where i would be able to find one it would be greatly appreciated.

ddm bought by the dealer. yes need to be programmed. a ddm from a donor car should work with no problem. if you have doubts find a friend or someone with the same vehicle as yours and test there ddm on your vehicle.
