Windshield help

Hello,

Got a nick in my windshield, went to Safelite glass to get it repaired and they said I would need a new windshield. OK but when they started to look for the correct windshield I didn't get that warm and fuzzy feeling !!!!!!!!!
They asked ME what windshield my vehicle needs. Can anyone in the NY?Queens area let me know what a 2006 Envoy Denali needs as far as a windshield is concerned. I do know I have Rainsense and it is a acoustical
windshield. Thanks in advance.

nick ?

first of all ,if it's the size of no more than a nickel they can repair for with glue and heat. i live in P.A. (born in bklyn) and had at least 4 tiny cracks in windsheild due to f-----g trucks . safelite came and fixed with no charge
although in NY i was able to buy glass insurance on policy for a nominal fee,i would check that out !!!!!!!!!!!! in p.a they don't offer as far i know total glass.

That's what I thought. But when Safelite saw it they said it would not take with the silicon repair
