New setup coming soon...

Well I'm doing a semi-budget build in my 02 LT.

Will be running 2 sets of these:

Powered by this (picked it up brand new at a local salvage reseller for $30):

Will be purchasing these when my tax refund finally gets here/I sell my old 79 Mustang 5.0:

If anyone has a suggestion for box design I'd greatly appreciate it. All input regarding install and what not greatly appreciated. I've never dealt with components or running door speakers off an amp before so those with experience on our platform please chime in with tips, tricks, and comments. Also I've yet to address sound deadening and power.

I know I shouldn't need an alt upgrade, at least I hope, until I'm well over 1K rms and hopefully I'll be doing the "big 3" along the way. I was planning on buying about 50' of 2 AWG welding cable in 2 separate colors for doing my big 3 plus running a main line to the back of my truck and using a fused distribution block to split it into 4 AWG for the amps and doing the same for the ground with just a normal dist block. Should have the components in next week sometime and will be taking plenty of pics along the way when installing.
