I am exploring installing a center channel speaker for my system, and I want to see how much room I do/don't have under the dash in the middle.

Thanks much.

John

You can remove the section of dash that is next to the windshield, the piece with the speaker grills. It comes off real easy (according to the threads) try a search on dash speakers or on the ambient light sensor (mid dash)

You will have to remove the A-Pillar moldings, then the upper trim pad will pop off (start on the outsides & work your way to the center)...The ambient light sensor will twist out of the panel

I don't think you'll have enough room to put a center speaker anywhere; these vehicles are packed pretty tight under the dash pad, but you'll see when you pull this trim pad off

PS...fill out your profile info so the appropriate service info can be checked!
