How to remove center console?
I have 04 Trailblazer LS and my wife had her license slide down the crack in front of the cup holders just below the dash area. How do I get the console out. I removed two screws, one under each cup holder. Where are the others at. It seems to be held on towards the back still but I could not locate any screws.

First of all Welcome to the site !!
"To remove your console, open the compartment, remove the 4 visible screws, and then pull the bottom piece out to get to the other 2. Then, lift it out and remove the 2 7mm screws. Finally, remove the front 2 cupholders, and remove those 7mm screws. Then, the console will move freely. Also, it you want to pull the console completely, you need to remove the electrical connector on the pass side in the rear."
Thanks to ScarabEpic22 for the how-to

Take it apart and use the $10 for the gas you'll need to show us some 1/4 mile run times

Plus you get 2 new plates, and have to update your registration
It's actually a bigger headache then taking off the console
I know in CT it's $25
Then again, you also must wait on those LONG DMV LINES

thanks for the info on removing it. She did go get a new license made. Here in Illiniois its 5.00 for a new one and you dont have to renew plates or anything else. I still may take the console out just to get it out plus it gives me something to do for a while.

(Psst, he is talking about a drivers license, not the license plate!)
Also, I thought that was my quote glue! I was reading it and was like, wow, I posted something like that a few weeks ago!
