Did mine myself, and it's a pain in the a**. You basically have to remove just about everything in the front, including the radiator.

Not necessarily true. You do indeed have to remove the fan and shroud but once they're out, it's just a matter of unbolting the clutch from the pulley. Advice: Go to a parts house and rent the recommended pulley tool. It will save you lots of time. But definitely do a search and you will find more than enough info regarding this.

Good luck and welcome to TrailVoy.

PS: Dealer price $379.00 for clutch. Average eBay price +/- $89.00

yeah, some will say its a pain the butt.... other will say they did it an a few hours and was pretty easy....
I think it depends on the availability of the tools and how good a gear head you are......

For me it was a real pain. I did rent the right clutch removal tool which helped. After I did the job I actually bought a Chilton's for future issues. The way they describe how to do it would have been a whole lot easier than the way I did it. You don't have to remove the radiator.

Good luck!

I had to change my fan clutch w/in the first month of owning the LTZ (TrailBlazer)

The TrailVoy peeps totaly helped! I found some good info and had to get a BFW (Big Freakn Wrench) but with a buddie for moral support things were not too bad.

Good luck in your repair
