fuel gauge shows full, then goes empty

i started the TB today and the SES light and Reduced power light both came on and i have NOTHING from the gas pedal no increase in RPM or anything. the truck will only coast.

many times this is due to a failing Accelerator pedal sensor......
but you mention the gas gauge is fluctuating.........
so it may be another problem.
get the codes read and post them here.

when i start the truck, and the gauges go through there "start-up" once everything is situated my gas gauge drops to E, and it shows no distance #'s just 3 dash marks, and this happened today out of the blue. i dont have access to a scanner and it wont drive, just coast. so i guess were waiting for a tow....
