djm kit on a 4x4
Ok i know that you can't put the djm kit on a 4x4 but what if I removed the front half shafts. I know everyones going to cry "why didn't you buy a 2x4" i didn't because I could it was my parents car that I bought. Will that work. Is the handling quality better than the belltech and the djm uppers?

yes u could pull the front drove shafts and the front halfshaft from the transfercase... i know .. i just did this like last week.. look at my post . the only net u will gane from the djm kit is the 4inc springs in the back.. the beltech rides just fine with the 2/3 drop but if u realy want to blow some money u could do what i was going to do and buy both beltechand djm front kit and have a 4inch drop in the front and make a costom bag setup in the rear so it wont look funny with a 4/4 drop. or just bag it like i am and make pulling the 4wd worth it.

Well i dont have the $5000 for the bagging. There for I wont be doing that haha. But I wish. I was going to remove it because the DJM kit is cheaper than the other two kits.

handling will be stock cause the springs stay the same. The belltech kit uses better springs

bagging ur tb wont cost 5gs.. lol.. im doing it for under 2.. but yea if u look at my post about turning my 4wd into a 2wd it should have plenty of pics and info on how to do it. but if ya want to be droped and keep the 4wd and buy the beltech. it rides good and isent to bouncy.. but if u want to buy both djm and beltech i might have the beltech springs for sell. im baging my tb so the lowering kit should be up on ebay in a month or so. but yea beltech is a good kit.

Buy the DJM front arms and a Belltech kit man, only a 3" drop in the back but you keep 4WD intact. Should be a little more than a full DJM kit but you dont have to hassle with removing 4WD parts plus you still have 4WD.

well i was lookin at the air ride stuff with the airpod. I wanted to go all out if i was going to do it. I got the belltech kit and now im saving up for the djm front kit. Should i just wait untill i get the djm kit and put both kits in at once or is it ok for me to put the belltech kit on and wait.

IVE done 3 airride installs and honestly its junk. No lift and ride was horrible. I told silver extasy also same thing and he got it and was like tony it rides like crap.
another thing ive done is djm front and the kbee coilovers. Trucks go down low and handle like crazy. In rear im testing out a kbee coilover that replaces the stock spring and you use a coilover shock where the stock shock is..
im allready using qa1 double adjustable shocks on mine and pulled the airbags out.

I'm not doing the air ride. I got the belltech kit and now im saving up for the djm front kit. Should i just wait untill i get the djm kit and put both kits in at once or is it ok for me to put the belltech kit on now and ride around with it on untill i got the arms?
