Fan switch for Heater/AC only works on 3 -5

I think the fan switch on my 04 TB is gone. The blower only works on 3 thru 5 and the location switch/Defrost/Upper/Lower/ is like it will only work of I turn it very slowly, If I turn from one extreme to the other. It stays on the first setting.

Not sure what it could be?

Help. Winter is coming!!!!!!!!

The fan speed issue is caused by the blower moter resistor. Your other issue is the mode door actuator. Both are very common issues.

Thanks for the links with the pictures. It will be a lot easier then doing it blind.
