This all sounds good. Would be nice to see Kooks step up and make a header. Right now it comes down to who is going to be the first one to make one . I bet who ever steps up first will get a ton of bussiness from this site just because there is no other choice for now. By the time another company steps up it could be too little to late. I have a 2003 but live in NY.I could install the parts myself and pay for local dyno time. I pull my car to the track with my TB with no issues at all doing 70-80 mph towing. I'll know right away if they make a differeance

actually Kooks does make custom headers and could make one for us. Its just 2 problems:

1) the cost: 1000 for aluminum 2000 for stainless steel
2) are you willing to leave your truck there when they make the headers?

BTW, since you live in NY maybe you can help Kooks make headers for us or better yet do a group buy for cheaper price!

They actually do need a test truck. If you do send you truck in, these headers will go into production.

I e-mailed them today so I guess it's sit and wait from here. I think the first company to step up and make the header is going to get swammped with orders from here.
