let's figure it out so I can budget!

I think Kooks should make one header first and test it. See how it works. Then if that goes well with that one header then they should ask for deposits.

Well, as a business, they just can't waste R&D, material, and manhours on a project that people just said they were up for. A person's real interest is measured by his willingness to spend money. This is the smart way for them to do this.

I agree about it being a smart move. However then a discount should be offered for the people who are, essentially, acting as financial backers for the R&D. Having said that, approximate prices and expected HP & TQ gains would be nice. Also if not satisfied with the end product, is the deposit refundable?

they have little knowledge of the I6. Not saying they are dumb or anything like that just that not many people see our I6 the way we do.

it's almost common knowledge what headers will do to a V8 but our I6 is a whole different beast with a very little following.

a buddy of mine has a shop with a chassis dyno. I'm gonna give him a call to see if he will do some before and after . Keep in mind that I have a bone stock 2003 TB with 3.73 gears- A TB with 3.42 gears would dyno higher stock for stock against mine.I'll give him a call this week. My TB is being dropped off on april 15 to kooks

I dont see how 3.42 in our trucks would have a higher dyno than a 3.73 or a 4.10...
