Hence why you never beat on your vehicles in D, you put them in 3 so that the overrun clutches engage and take some of the load off the sprag ands help with holdng power and stabilizing the tranny

Nice mods, the only thing i have done to my tranny is I had the pressure increased for towing. Makes a huge difference too, gives a much firmer shift

So if i was to do the mods listed above... what would be my biggest concern? Im at 48,000 miles on my 2005 TB. I have only done a K&N CAI, and resonator delete.. waiting on my exaust... PCMforless ordered, and on the way. Set for shift firmness 2... If i was to do these mods would i have to send them my PCM again and have it modified or would the current tune from them be good still? What about draw backs to these mods? I dont have a factory waranty anymore so anything i break is coming straight out of my pocket!!

Any help or educated opinions are very welcome and greatly appriciated !! Thanks.

Mine runs BETTER with all the stuff I've added. No problems with repairs, etc., except the ordinary stuff that goes out on every TrailVoy platform.

Remember, they're just parts and tune -- you're the man with his foot on the go-pedal. Lay it on the floor every time you drive and you are going to wear out and potentially break parts sooner than the person who doesn't -- even if it remains stock.

Playing always involves paying -- no free lunch -- but driven carefully, using the goodies only once in a while for fun won't do any more damage than leaving it stock.

well you have some miles on it now from the change over. Hows the tranny holding up? Been reading about tranny's failing just from a tune. I think this method will last compared to just a tune

Thanks! Keep in mind thats still with all the stock PCM programming of redicilous torque management, huge shift time numbers and low line pressures
