How to tell if you have a shallow or deep transmission pan

Is there a way to tell if you have a shallow or deep transmission pan either by vin or by model or do you have to physically get under your Trailblazer and measure the pan?

thanks,

Dan

I know 4wd gets the deep pan, not sure about the 2wd.

I had a picture on my laptop that I took a few years ago (I have the deep pan) but I must've deleted it (smacks self on forehead. Maybe I can take another...hold on.

If your trans pan looks like mine, you have a deep pan.

Honestly there isnt a way to tell, have to get under there and look. If it looks like MichEnvoyBoys then its a deep pan, if its flat then shallow. Also, take a tape measure to it, think deep ones are 2 7/8" and shallow are like 2 1/4".
