CV Inner Shaft Oil Seal

I had to put in two new CV Shaft/Assemblies and figured I change the oil seals at the same time. Did the drivers side and it seamed a little loose fitting, but I figured, maybe it will swell a little... and didn't do the passenger side at the time.

Well I had to do the lower ball joint on the Passenger side this weekend and figured I'd pull the CV shaft and change the seal since I had it. I get under the truck and the the drivers side is soaked with fluid. The new seal's been leaking like a sieve. So I continue on with the passneger side and when I get to the seal, it's about 3/8" too freagin small for the shaft. I pull the other side, figuring maybe the drivers and pass. are different size shafts and I screwed it up but it's too small for the drivers side too.

I looked up the GM part #12471617 and it says it's for the 02 -08 Trailblazer.

WTF? It was a sealed package. This truck is the Early 2002 (as in Sept. 2001) is there a different part #?
