Remove Onstar Antenna

I dont know if anyone put up pics of this when it was on and when they took it off. just trying to help others make a final decision. So here we go.

I agree I think it's aftermarket. Not sure GM ever did anything in the early years on side windows. Thought Onstar was always on the roof. XM migrated from the roof to the dashboard in later years.

2002 & 2003 Trailvoy Onstar antennas were on the left rear window as shown. 2004 and subsequent are on the roof.

EDIT: The old analog systems before the digital upgrade? Mine was digital in 2004.

There are no holes through the glass?? I may have to remove it after all. I've only removed the whip so far.

No there are no holes. just incredibly sticky foam. a little goo gone and your good though.
