1st to 2nd gear shifting to late....???

My trans all the sudden wants to only shift really late in the rpms (has to be at least 2500 or more) but only in the 1st to 2nd gear shift! 2nd to third, and 3rd to 4th shift normally. Goes through all 4 gears firmly without slipping or anything. What the hell is going on!!?? Any help is appreciated.

Check the fluid level, if its not at the proper level it can negatively impact shifting.

Also are you stock or tuned?
