07 Envoy A/C & Heater Recirculation Fan not functioning

My recirculation fan does not function at all. The A/C and heater both work with forced air, however I can't get the fan to come on. I have checked the fuses and connections under the dash/glove box area. Any ideas what part of the fan is causing the problem?

the recirculation fan will not come on unless your AC or Heater is already on... you will distinctly hear a change in air flow when you hit the recirculation button... if you hear nothing, then you might be in need of an actuator... however, I am not sure if there is one for the recirculation feature... I probably would put my money on there being a recirculation actuator, after all these have at least 6 actuators... what's one more... ... use the search feature above and search for recirculation ...

I should be more specific. The fan function on any level does not work. Any ideas?

Blower or the speed control module (assuming you have digital controls).
Have you checked the blower motor connector with a meter?

Ac delco p/n 15-72813

Hey ROADIE the HVAC GOD HaHa

My 2005 TB LT with digital dual controls is intermetently coming on / not working. I've read your post on the manual resitor pack etc. I went to the AC Delco site and came up with p/n 15-72813 for 05/06 trailblazers. GM parts number is 89018778 according to GMpartsdirect.com ($68.67). My question is this the rite AC Delco part? All these numbers confuse me

THANKS DKDK

Digital controls are discussed in this post:
http://forums.trailvoy.com/showpost....16&postcount=8

The AC Delco number 15-72813 you found is for the REAR blower speed control on EXT/XL models (long wheelbase). Not for you.

GM 89018778 is a good part number for the item you need. You can also take yours out and look at it for a label, since you might find the issue is overheated wiring connectors, not the module itself. Take a look before you buy anything. If wiggling the connector makes it work intermittently, you need to clean that up or also buy a connector pigtail.

What you really need from rockauto.com or Ebay or the aftermarket stores is ACDelco: 15-80567

Oh, BTW - I can't claim any sort of godhood - I'm merely the Oracle.
