Windshield Washer Reservior - Replacement

Hi everyone...New to this board.....So please forgive if I do something wrong.

I was just informed by a dealership that my windshield washer reservior is cracked and I think that they are right, because it will not hold water and leaks every where....

How difficult is this job to accomplish? The dealership told me $285 dollars...and I think that I can do it for a whole lot less...just do not know where to start.

If I am not mistaken, 2005 TB - Reservior is on the passenger side under engine compartment....Doesn;t look that difficult....but you never know...

Thanks in advance for the help.

its underneath your air cleaner assembly. Remove that, and the resivoir should be held down with a few bolts. Very straightfoward R&R.

It may be located below the airbox, but you might only be able to physically remove it through the wheel well. Extremely easy job, and you'd probably be able to patch it with epoxy and call it a day.

Leaky windshield wiper reservoir

Windshield fluid slowly drips out of the pump for the rear windshield fluid. Does anyone have a fix for this I had the same problem two years ago. I took it all apart and reseated the two little pumps. It worked until now, any other fixes or ideas would b appreciated thanks.

On mine, one of the washer fluid pumps cracked down the side and that's where all my fluid leaked from I refilled.... pull the air filter out then refill and try to ID where exactly the leak is. Flashlight is necessary. Easy to fix either way.
