how to remove panel under steering column

How do you get this panel off without busting it? Do I need to remove the screws in the metal bar that goes along the bottom, or is it held in with clips entirely (just pry it out)?

IIRC behind the 2 plastic circles are screws, the screws in bar come out, once that drops, there are 2-4 more screws along the bottom. good luck

The way the interior is put together makes me cringe sometimes with all the pressure clips, just always look for some type of removable plastic cover like the other guys said. Pretty much rule of thumb with newer vehicles..
