Rear Radio Controls

I have looked around and cannot find a thread on this. Does anyone know if you can maintain the rear seat controls if you install an aftermarket double-din radio?

ya...i just installed an aftermarket JVC radio w/12disk changer instead of my Bose 6disk. I used the GMOS-04 but I couldn't figure it out either. I'm thinking the stock radio has a dual tuner inside of it.

Rear AC still works. One thing to note though when hookin up a new radio....i originally left the wiring unplugged to the rear controls (under the center console) when i started checking all the functions of the aftermarket radio. If you leave them unplugged, you won't have any sound from your rear speakers. I was lost for a few minutes thinking that i didn't hook up something properly. The wiring must loop back to the dash....guess it has something to do with the rear radio and the headphone jack for the rear radio.

I don't think there is a dual tuner.

If you read the manual, it says that when using the rear audio you CANNOT listen to the same source that is playing on the main radio; you can only listen to a different source.

Ok...well then that tells ya right there that everything is from the main radio...which kinda sucks if you want to keep the rear but use aftermarket.
