Resonator delete on the cheap-I6 4.2

I was planning on just going to a muffler shop (Top Gun) and having them cut it off and put on a cheap stainless 3" tip and short pipe but when they qouted me $75 bucks I decided to do it myself. They sold me a 5 foot section of used pipe for $5 and I finished it in about 2 hours saving $70 and 11lbs w/ a hand from a little helper

Tools:
Sawzall
Chop saw (optional)
Jack stands or whatever (to hold pipe up)
Angle grinder
Welder
Paint/tape/paper or plastic cover up

It's a noticable increase in sound if your listening for it but still domesticated enough to stay low key

If I would have paid the extra $2,600 and got 4X4, mine would have a little mud on it for sure. I'm still kickin myself for not getting it when I had the chance. TB's look pretty good lifted.

If I lift it I'll get the itch to try it out and spent more time trying to get it unstuck than wheelin. Plan on lifting my Silverado 4X4 once the new is worn off

Any pics from the back? I have tossed around the idea of changing mine to a side exit. Good job on the mod.
