Rear Brake squeal
New Trailblazer owner, picked up an '05 EXT with 77k miles a couple of weeks ago. Dealer found worn brake pads when it came in on trade and put new pads on all the way around.
Problem is this: Left rear seems to squeal intermittently pedal applied or no pedal applied or sometimes sounds like a shoe dragging (E-Brake?)
I've jacked up the rear end and can't duplicate the noise rotating wheel by hand.
Most likely cause?
1.) Insufficient anti-squeal paste applied to back of pads?
2.) Or possible E-brake issue? Rotors were not replaced. (Note I had pulled E-brake handle out of habit at one point a couple of days after I took delivery and that seemed to make the problem worse. Seems the previous owner hadn't used it as only the left rear seemed to hold)
Any ideas greatly appreciated.
