Question A4W does not work!

When switching from 2W drive to A4W the light does not change or blink, the 4W drive works fine and engages perfectly, even the 2W drive works. Any ideas as to what the problem is, or could be?

I have the same problem. It's a 2004 Trailblazer LT. I love the truck but the snow is coming and I would like the option of leaving it in 4AWD but it does not come on. Please help.

Thanks
