I replaced my 4l60e transmission with a used one in working order. The reason I replaced is the old one wouldn't shift into 3rd and 4th. It would just rev to a high rpm and you have to feather the gas to get it to go. Well the new one is doing the same thing. Any ideas?

I am thinking this my be an electrical issue. Pulled a aftermarket wire that was in the rear fuse box in one of the ignition fuses and now I don't have 1,2,3 or 4th gear. Any thoughts?

He said it wouldn't shift to 3rd or 4th so that means it shifts to 2nd. Engine revving up sure sounds like slipping.
