LM4 to Replace {swap} where a LH6 w/ DOD is?

Hi, Im {kinda} new here, & appreciate all the great info so far. I did Search, but still am not 100% clear on this- I have a 2003' LWB Envoy XL/SLT 5.3. LM4- Has some Cosmetic Difficulties' you can say, {Hit a Deer etc!} Runs Perfect, Km's reasonable- I can get a 2005' Envoy Denali same LWB SLT Model, has a LH6 with 'Active Fuel Management' in Mint shape all around, but has a bad {Engine} Blown Cylinder, everything else {Transmission, body etc} is fine on the 05'. So I was wondering if My 03' Engine would go{Direct Replacement} into the 05'? Would the 05' having the DoD feature mean anything other then a Direct Replacement/Swap can happen here? or is there Differences because of the DoD feature,or Anything else between the 2 Engines that need addressed to switch them over? Im hoping my complete LM4 will just 'Drop' in-I dont care about keeping the DoD feature. Good News is They are Both Black! Either Swap the Engines, & have a Factory Upgraded {Denali} & Newer Truck- or Swap out the Denali's Front/Rear Bumpers, Passenger Quarter Panel, Headlight/bracket/assembly etc. {what ever else I can/need to switch;} & keep my 03' Envoy??? Thanks in Advance,

J.

I frankly don't know but I would be concerned about the change in the engines. I think I would look for the same engine if I were switching. Best

Forum's dead, that's all there is to it. LM4 has a 24x crank sensor and LH6 has 52x. Either swap crank reluctors or buy the box to make it work.
