But not getting the 5v pulse to the fan clutch sensor is what trips the MIL for DTC , so I would think at least two wires are for speed control (-12v) and one for 5v (+5v) pulse and (-5v) ground , and the other maybe system hot (+12v) .
Kind of like a MAF , they use a 5v pulse for the readings .
Maybe someone more knowledgeable than me can comment .
A little something I designed for a truck and the 05 truck fans .
Going to check out the TB this weekend a see what the fan clutch wires do .
