SW Turbo cat back on my TBSS. Very happy with my SW turbo catback, minimal drone if any at all. Sounds fine and if there were any drone it's minimal. Prefer stealth to noise.

Please explain.... resonator / muffler
Any ideas why Chevy would call it a muffler and a resonator AND not just say 2 resonators?
Is "muffler" just a slang term that all these companies are using to not confuse us by calling them resonators ?

He's just confused on their jobs. A muffler is designed to quiet the exhaust, while a resonator is designed to tune the exhaust frequencies to prevent the drone-it's not quieting anything.

I did the muffler delete ($35). It sounds great for the money but I may put a Magnaflow or other straight through muffler on to cut down on the noise a little. Good mod IMO and the noise isn't real bad but it's an SUV, not a Camaro you know

Probally some good weight savings. The resonator on the SS looks freakin huge!

I didn't mind how loud it was, but I didn't like some of the tones and popping I was getting after I did the muffler delete. To me it sounded like someone that put duals on his V6. I cut in a 3" in/out Hooker Aero Chamber and love it. It was $50+ at Summit.

I replaced the muffler with a nagnaflow 22" 12589 I think. The guys at the shop said to drive it for a week and if it wasn't loud enough to come back and they would remove the resonator in back. I went back 5 days later and removed the resonator. cost 220 total. I love it not too loud but you can tell it is a mean engine at wot.
