rear wiper and drivers side controls do not work

I have 2006 trailblazer after rain storm drivers side window controls will not work and rear wiper ? Help where do I start to figure this out ?

Can you tell if the door switches got any water on/in them? Something similar happened to me (a lot less rain than what you guys just got) and after the module dried out, it began working again.

If you can pop out the driver and passenger modules and swap them, you can confirm if the problem is localized to just the module, or being affected by something else.

Was the window open? The Driver Door Module (DDM) often burns up inside when wet. Pry it up and swap it with the passenger door module (PDM) to troubleshoot. Then buy a used one on Ebay to avoid the requirement to pay a dealer to program a new one.

Rear wiper may be a coincidence, since the same fault can't affect the liftgate. Do your defrost wires work? Often, that's a broken wire inside the insulation at the liftgate hinge area, from pure age and flexing.
