OBDII port location ?

I searched under several keywords and phrases yet could not find the answer let alone a similar question .. And heck .. I know when to admit I need help .. but Please have pity on me anyway as I am embarrased to ask .. ... long week at work, kids having to be run everywhere and I think I am coming down with the flu ..

Got the SES light on way to work this morning. Voy hit 100k miles yesterday. Put gas in it about 150 miles ago and did make sure the cap was on right. Brother is bringing his OBDII reader over for me to use ..

but ..

Were is the port and is there anything special to do to read the code?

The port is under the dash, in-line with your right leg. You will need a code reader.

Huh? It's closer to the left leg. It's to the left of the steering column.
