Guys with headers and stock muffler...

How much louder is it than with the stock manifolds? Since Tbyrne is having a sale on them I'm thinking of picking up a set, but I don't want it to be too loud with the cutout closed. Anybody have any comparision sound clips?

i had the stock catback mated with my SW headers w/o the cats, and it was quite loud for a stock catback setup.

You will definitely have quite a large increase in sound level. Might not be too bad if you leave stock exhaust and go with a catted set-up, but I don't think you can avoid the big sound level if you want headers.

Well, I guess "big" is a relative term, won't be too bad at cruising, but WOT I would think will still be quite loud with headers/factory cat-back.

I am running headers with stock cat back. It is quite loud at WOT. Crusing down the highway sound is near normal level. No drone at any setting.
