Flowmaster Catalytic CA

Hello all,

2004 Trailblazer. Hopefully someone can lend advice here, I need to replace my cat with CA approved replacement which means CARB compliant since I am in CA.

There appears to be limited selection when it come to CARB units from most mfg. I found a flowmaster 3912024 that according the their site is a universal fit. Does any one have knowledge of flowmatser replacements for the Trailblazer. Looking underneath, the original is round and the flowmaster is oval with what looks like a case around it. Will this fit be a problem?

Thx Bw

Curious about these new Magnaflow Cats that claim to be CARB compliant direct bolt ons. Not any cheaper than stock for me. I have the 5.3L engine. Magnaflow part #545650
