HELP! Envoy XUV..

So it all started today, I rolled down the back window to transport a chair. (I had it down and back up Sunday as well) I get home and try to roll it up and it gives the "rear wiper obstruction" message. Now my rear wiper has never worked.. So I dont know how this happened with in 3 days so I tried pulling the wiper fuse and pulling the wiper arm up and down to get it to "lock" in position, no such luck. I found on another forum that said to press the rear window vent button 6 times while the car was off and on and it would put the back window into an initializing mode to go I try this and then my truck says "service brake system" followed by a lot of dinging. Turned the key back off and into the on position, no lights or dash. Turned it back off and into the on position, same thing with service brake system and dings so I tried to start the truck and of start. But it is accompanied by a horrible clunking noise under the hood and in the back hatch. WHAT COULD THIS BE AND WHY? I'm going to jump it tomorrow to see what happens but any opinions on both situations would be helpful. The wiper, and the brake system/no start.

A little info about the truck. 2004 with 188K. Oil changes regularly, brakes just changed last year. I did replace the drivers side wheel bearing and upper control arm a few months ago. It now does need the passenger wheel bearing.

My guess is your ignition switch is bad. They cause all sorts of issues. Try searching ignition switch in the forum and you wull be suprised at the symptoms.
