Thought I would chime in:
02 Envoy XL with 250,000 miles on her. She still needs a lot of TLC for stuff that is failing. I have replaced most of the engine components short of replacing the engine itself. New transmission at 240,000 miles because it decided it no longer loved life and grenaded itself.

Actuators (like most) need to be replaced and the rear HVAC stopped working. If anyone could point me to the thread that shows how to fix it that would be awesome!

2005 Envoy XL Denali with 314K

Rebuilt Transmission at 220K

I Replaced
  • Fuse Box
  • Water pump
  • Air Suspension Bags 2x
  • Left Motor Mount
  • 3 Igniters
  • 1 wiper fluid pump
  • shocks
  • tires 4X
  • Brakes (rotors and pads) 5X
  • Driver seat cusion
  • Plugs and wires 4x
  • Upper A Arms
  • Right front axle
  • Fron Wheel Bearings
  • Fan Clutch 2x
  • Serpentine Belt 2X
  • Oil/Filter every 5-7K
  • Clay bar and wax 2x per year
  • fron differential engagement assembly

Now a check engine and the oil pressure problem. Probably the o-ring.
Car in great shape otherwise with no dings, no rust,
Probably donate it. Sigh.

Loofa, what were the symptoms when you replaced the fuse box? And did you have any trouble matching fuse boxes? Mine has been in the shop 3 weeks now and they are telling me they are having a hard time finding a fuse box to match it. Thanks.
