07 tbss harness & tune

I purchased a salvaged 07 TBSS to use engine & drivetrain etc. in a 37 Buick Coupe I'm building. I inquired at Painless Performance about a stand alone harness & free tune. Their options do not include LS2 with 4L70. They will do LS2 with 4L60, 65 & 80, not 70. Their tech. said they have had problems with that particular combo so it's not offered.
Anybody had that problem or know a way around it. I could build a harness but don,t want to have tuning problems later.
Thanks Dave

The 4L60/65/70 is literally the same exact transmission. The later models have some type of an input sensor in the pump, that makes them a bit more difficult to deal with rebuild wise, but the electronic package is the same otherwise. Go with the 65 package of which they speak....and you will be good to go!
