Gas and Brake pedal motor broken.

So I just bought a 2006 97x with a 5.3. Love it but the pedals are too high and button on the steering column doesnít work. Iím assuming the motor is out. Is it possible to manually adjust it? Iím 6í2 and bending my knee in order to brake is a bit uncomfortable. Btw the fuse is good under the hood and the relay near the brake pedal assembly. So Iím guessing the motor is out. Any help would be appreciated.
