She's Legally Dead

While working in Roanoke I was hit on the ring road of a Mall. She told the police "I was on the phone and wasn't paying attention". WTF.

She wasn't going fast enough to make he Air bags deploy. My truck was towed to a State Farm (her Insurance) repair shop. State Farm gave me a rental to get home and use until my truck was fixed.

Two weeks later I drove to Roanoke to get it. Drove it 275 miles back to Virginia Beach. It drove great. Repair cost was almost $6k.

I noticed some issues with the alignment of the bumper and fender. So I called State Farm. I took it to a Collision Center here in Chesapeake. I'll make a long and sad story short. Bottom line is the frame is bent and "Can't" be straightened. The frame would need to be replaced. The truck is a total loss and can be sold for parts only. I will get almost $12,000 and most of my after market parts thou. I will have a few parts to sell. I had a Borla catback I wish I could pull but I don't have the oem exhaust to put back on or the time to find one.
ps. I'm still driving the truck until I settle with State Farm.

Stupid Ice patch under the snow... At least it seems like a easy fix anyhow... Gotta give it to her, she took the brunt of the accident... No bags deployed, pretty much slid off the road into a dirt hillside.

Now to figure out a parts list...

My 04 LT with 230K miles when it was totaled. Hit hard on front pass frame, then turned over to rest on it's passenger side. ( No injuries thankfully ! ) Bought it with about 50K on it back in 07 and it got wrecked in April of 18. So Sad,...... Just had it towed away for scrap a week or 2 ago.

About 2 months ago it was replaced by a 'better' Trailblazer,...... an 05 LT2 with 165K on the odometer and fully loaded black leather interior. Sucks to wreck the truck I put sooooo much work into ( My son crashed it ) but I put all that experience to good use and my 'new to me' 05 LT2 has been very well cared for and has gotten all the 'cool stuff' that was originally installed on the 04.
