I totally agree that the 2007 rear wiper replacement is the best way to go...

My problem has been with my 2002, 2006 Trailblazers and currently 2006 Envoy is that the pivot point on the arms cannot loosen up using every brand of solvent (blaster, WD40, Kroll etc) .
I finally purchased a replacement arm but my problem now is adjusting so it comes to rest in the proper position instead of locking in the rest position. You manually have to physically pull it up out of the come to rest holder.
I temporally solved the problem by adjusting the arm so it comes to rest on the lower portion of the rear window. Problem now is that I cannot open the rear window. There must be a setting point so that it comes to rest properly without the need of using physical force to release it. Once the spring action is working it cleans fine
