Nope. I'm sure they're just fine, though. But, why not go with one of the tried and true TBSS trans shops like FLT in Chi, RPM in the Indy area, Phoenix in Dallas or Circle D in Houston? RPM does the trans for Martin's "World's Fastest TBSS".
I was planing on going with the RPM trans, but I found this one and just wanted to know if anyone has put one in. I think Im just going to go with the RPM trans. I've heard good things about their trans.
i had my transmission rebuilt locally. i took them the rpm and flt parts list as a reference, they put in those parts and more and it ran me 2700 installed and includes a 3 year warranty. now they don't have the fancy forged input/output shafts... but idk it seems to me like there are plenty of weaker links in a trans that those parts. if rpm was closer to me i'd consider them but i really don't like the idea of having to ship a trans back and forth across the country when there are plenty of people who can rebuild 4l60/70s with their eyes closed nearby.
I have heard horror stories of people letting local shops do rebuilds when I have the cash I will let the pros handle it
