Envoy slt to xl rotors swap

I was wondering if this is even possible. I tow a boat with my 2005 envoy slt. I literally destroy the rotors and brakes 3 sets a year even with trailer brakes on! I was wondering if I can put envoy xl rotors and brake pads on my envoy slt has anyone ever tryed this?

I believe you would need to change almost everything (rotor, caliper and caliper mounting bracket), not sure about pads.

I hear that people put Trailblazer EXT brakes on the SWB trucks. I would assume it's the same thing as swapping from envoy to envoy xl. One problem is you may need new wheels to fit the bigger brakes. I actually have an oem set of 17's from my EXT for sale that should fit the big brakes.
