‘04 trailblazer 4.2l non ext - power steering mystery

Hey all- had a nice leak in the power steering lines just below the brake booster area. Cut the bad parts out and fixed the leak. Almost immediately the pump died. Swapped new pump, flushed system, bleed properly and the new pump failed in two minutes. Flushed system again, replaced pump same brand same thing happened. Trying different brand now...

What y’all think?? Two bad pumps?

What brand? You can never go wrong with AC Delco OEM or AC Delco Professional lines. The AC Delco Advantage line is to compete with the local aftermarket parts houses.
