lighting problems

Weird situation going on with my lights. I have a 2006 LS trailblazer. When I turn on the left turn signal it blinks like normal. Once I hit the brakes it blinks rapidly. When I look on the exterior of the vehicle, the front is fine, but the back is doing all kinds of weird stuff. The blinker light and tail light rotate flashing, and the reverse lights blink as well. Also, with a second person assisting, when I hit the brakes, the reverse lights light up as well. Finally the last thing I noticed, when I hit the brakes without the blinkers on the turn indicators on the dash faintly light up. when I release the brakes they go away. WTF?
