Recommendations on cheap winter tires

Can anyone recommend where to get cheap tires for the winter? i have a 2004 Envoy with 140K. I might sell it and I dont want to dish out a ton cash for tires. Thanks!

I don't know if you have them in Chicago, but where I live there are a couple New/Used tire places. The used tires they sell have about 70-80% tire tread left and are usually about $50-80 compared to $150-200 for brand new ones. (Prices in Canadian)

Also check craigslist or similar. Up here we have Kijiji and I found 4 brand new winter tires with rims for $200 for my old van. The guy had them on his van for 1 month before he got rid of his van. That package cost him $1000 when he bought them. I used them for 3 winters without any issues.
