Thumbs up New tires - Hankook Ventus RH06

After using up the last of my stock RSA's (57K miles) I decided to put some new meat on the road. After talking to other members about their selections, I decided on the Hankook Ventus ST RH06 tires. The SS comes from the factory with 255/50-20's and I went with the 275/45-20's.
The height is almost identical however I get about 3/4" wider tread width.

The tires are uni-directional so rotating becomes front to back and back to front. In the research I did I was told that the tires have excellent traction on dry, wet and snowy road conditions. I am not too worried about the snow any more, but I do need a tire that sheds water since the California roads do not.

As you can see in the pics the fit is perfect, even at the ball joints.

Mean looking tread...

I am searching prices now, can you give me a heads up on where you purchased and price? Thanks, snow is coming and the RSA's even with great tread left have to go. Free to anyone who wants them.

I got mine from Americas Tire / Discount Tire. The tires, mounting, TPMS rebuild(s), and the free replacement warranty all came to about $800 out the door.

I drive into roofing companies and supply lots all the time. IMHO the replacement warranty is cheap insurance over and above any std. road hazard policy.

Just replaced my RSAs with RH06s today. Got about 125 miles on them already. Done some city driving but mostly interstate (mix of snow covered and clear road). So far.....LOVE EM!!!! Ride better, quieter, better grip and look better!

btw....DUCATI RULES!

I'm jealous! I have a set on order from DiscountTire Direct, but backordered until January. They will at least beat the price from onlinetire.com, great price so I can not complain. Post again and let us know how they do in the snow.

I used a 'connection' and went and picked my tires up at the warehouse. So far I love em! The roads have cleared more from the last post but we are getting 2-4 inches of snow tonight so I'll get to test them tomorrow!! I'll update again then.
