Unhappy 2002 TrailBlazer bad Transmission

Gentlemen Good evening

I have a 2002 Trailblazer LS 2WD that has P,R,N, no problem but when I put it into drive it only has 1-2 and then the rpm shoot straight up to 5k-6k it will not go into 2-3,3-4. I have changed out the shift solenoids and did an oil change but only pan oil and filter with a new gasket. need help bad I also have a friend that has a transmission he knows its a chevy trans 4L60E but doesn't know if I can use it or not can anyone help me out with maybe decoding the trans with the stickers/ numbers or does anyone have any other information they would like to share it is greatly appreciated.

Any one from 2002 to 2005 or 2005 should work. You will have to use the bell housing and converter off your old one. Converter may be bad too.
