trailblazer crazy gauges

I have 2003 trailblazer LTZ, no problem starting or running. But gauges flash and chimes go off and on constantly. ABS,brake, air bag, check gauges, service 4wd,battery light flashes intermittently. unknown driver and driver 2 flash on the DIC. I have already replaced the ignition switch for another problem. has anybody got a solution ? Thanks.

Sounds like you need a new ignition switch. The tend to make the dash go crazy.

It could be the instrument cluster. I got my cluster rebuilt, because a gauge went bad. When I got it back, and plugged it in it smoked, and everything started flashing. Upon inspection I found that an IC near the speedo burned out, and had a crack through it. I got my money back on that repair, and had to get a replacement cluster.

Maybe a poor ground, but really I'm guessing at this point.

2004 Raineer V-8 all the same and occasionally battery died.
I looked up GM gauge cluster repair on e-bay and got 1099
results. I sent out the cluster and 7 days later put back in
and worked perfect, $106.40 fixed everything check for the
feedback and what they actually do. Some "fix" problems with
yours. I went with someone who rebuilds the whole thing.

Jimmy-g that is what I did. Unfortunately my first try ended in disaster. They must have accidentally shorted something during the process. However I got a full refund then purchased a rebuilt unit with blue LED lights. The second one worked perfectly.
