4l60e not wanting to shift

So my trailblazers transmission didn't want to shift gears and then it went out so I bought a new one and installed it. And now the new one does not want to shift into 3rd it will run 1st and 2nd fine same with reverse but going into 3rd it just revs high and stays in 2nd. Could this be caused by a bad ground somewhere cause my radio started to get really cracky around the same time. (I sort of went through some kinda deep water with the old one.)

That problem is caused by the 3-4 clutch being burnt up.

If you have a new one it should have a warranty, although I don't know of any source that sells new ones.
