Wierd pop

I was driving my 04 TB last night stopped at a light. Went to pull off and there was a loud pop then a zing noise. The truck wouldnt pull at all. Slowed down put the truck into 1st gear. It did drive. Limped it home parked it. Now no reverse. It is full of tyranny fluid. It is dirty and this truck does have 326k miles

hi

sorry to say but it sounds like the dreaded sunshell gear inside the tranny has broken.

326k miles or 520k Km;'s is that on the original transmission and engine?

I bought the truck used. Not sure if it's the original trans. The motor has 326,000 miles on it
