I don't remember exactly the instructions however they are simple as far as I know and they come with the unit few clicks on the controls allows you to set year and model of the vehicle. I'm almost positive you can research the web how to program Dorman unit.

It is important to mention when changing automatic climate control,battery has to be disconnected prior to installation of new unit. After programming unit to your specific year and model you must conduct climate control calibration for the actuators properly direct the airflow.
